Now in its 5th year of operation, the CNCA Innovation Fund is pleased to announce the CNCA member cities awarded grants to pursue innovative projects that will accelerate carbon neutrality.

• Rio de Janeiro will create a tool to prioritize interventions that have the biggest impact on GHG emissions, air quality and the urban heat island effect.
• Rio de Janeiro will receive a second award to implement energy benchmarking within the city and across Brazil.
• Sydney will drive buildings and businesses to net-zero energy through a gamification platform.
• Yokohama will promote solar energy in a post-Feed In Tariff economy.
