Annika Jacobson

Special Coordinator for Climate Action, Executive Office, City of Stockholm, Sweden

Annika is Special Coordinator for Climate Action at the City Executive Office in the City of Stockholm and Vice Chair of Viable Cities. She is a former State Secretary to the Swedish government, based at the Ministry of Environment, with responsible for the government’s climate and environmental policy as well as the national implementation of Agenda 2030. She has also worked at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs as Chief of Staff to the Minister for Climate and International Development Cooperation, with specific responsibility for climate, international climate finance and Agenda 2030. Annika has extensive experience working with climate issues in both civil society and the business sector, and has held positions such as Country Director of Greenpeace in Sweden and Secretary General of ActionAid Sweden. She is now a board member of ActionAid Sweden.
