Stockholm used a citizen-science approach to identify and map inequities related to weather risk and climate vulnerability in the City of Stockholm’s metropolitan area. This project represented an important step in contextualizing climate justice action in Stockholm and established relationships with priority community partners. Stakeholders were engaged in a co-creation process with an eye to long-term collaboration on these issues.

Output:

• Climate Adaption Justice in Stockholm Report: Consisting of literature reviews (one focusing on the international academic discussion on climate justice and the other on climate adaptation justice related work in Swedish municipalities); results analysis from interviews; a critical discussion and analysis of the interview’s outcomes; forward-looking recommendations, and a methodology section.
