
James Drinkwater
Head of Built Environment Programme, Laudes Foundation
James is Head of the Built Environment programme at Laudes Foundation, where he supports transformation initiatives towards an inclusive, climate and nature positive industry. He co-founded Built by Nature and chairs its investment committee, and co-founded Assemble – a global coalition of built environment donors. He was previously Director of WorldGBC Europe where he co-founded the first ever Buildings Day at COP21 – the EU’s Level(s) sustainable buildings policy – and the EU’s Energy Efficient Mortgages Initiative. He is a climate and environment lawyer with an MA from Cambridge University.
